Kanazawa has a population of 460,000.
We flew to Kansai, trained to Osaka where we stayed overnight. The next day
we trained to Kanazawa. This trip takes two hours forty minutes, and passes the
large Lake Biwa.
From Osaka, on the way, you pass Lake Biwa.

Kanazawa has one of Japan's most famous Parks, Kenrokuen. It is designated as one of Japan's three 'perfect' gardens.
